Weather Delays:
Rain Will Be Worked Around Or Worked In Depending On The Amount of Rainfall. Rain And Other Weather Delays Will Be Communicated With The Client Along With The Rescheduled Service Date.
What Is The Best Way To Schedule Service?:
Calling Is The Best Form of Contact. If No Response is Received and You Are Sent to Voicemail, Please Leave Your Name, Call Back Number, and the Reason For Calling.
We Do Not Recieve Texts On Our System For Unknown/Unadded Numbers. Please Call or Email To Schedule Service.
Do I Need To Be Home For Service?:
You Do Not Need To Be Home For Service If Previously Discussed So We Can Make Arrangements For Access To the Property and If Need Be, Provide Before and After Pictures. However, If Not Previously Discussed, Service Will Not Be Conducted and Will Be Rescheduled If We Cannot Contact You At the Time of Service.
How Do I Prepare My Lawn For Service?:
Please Make Sure All Obstacles Are Picked Up and Removed From the Yard (Toys, Tools, Furniture, Pet Droppings, Large Sticks/Branches, ...), Ensure All Children and Pets Are Kept Away From Workers and Work Areas, and Ensure Workers Have Access to the Work Areas.
Large/ Expensive Projects:
Projects That Require Materials To Be Ordered, Equipment Rentals, Disposal, And Are Quoted Above $500, Will Require Either A 50% Deposit or A Payment Covering The Cost Of Materials, Whichever Is Greater.
Cancellations:
Services Can Be Cancelled Anytime Before Materials Are Ordered And/Or 8am The Day Of Service. If Services Are Cancelled After 8am The Day Of Service And/Or After Materials Are Ordered, The Client Is Subject To A Cancellation Fee Which Will Be Either 30% Of The Quoted Price Or The Cost of Materials/Travel/Equipment Rentals/Etc.
Time Frames/Scheduling:
Scheduling of Services Will Be Given an AM or PM Time Frame for Approximate Time of Arrival. AM Time Frames are From 8am - 12pm. PM Time Frames Are From 12pm - 5pm. We Can However, Provide a Call/Text Ahead 30 - 60 Minutes Ahead of Time.
Late Fees:
Late Fees Are Added To All Due Amounts 7 Days or More Past The Due Date Based On A Job's Specific Payment Term. The Fees Are Charged To The Client's Account And Accumulate If Due Amounts Are Not Paid.
7 Days Late = 1.5% Of Unpaid Amount
14 Days Late = 3% Of Unpaid Amount
30 Days Late = 5% Of Unpaid Amount​ Or $50, Whichever Is Greater
Reschedule Fees:
Only When Reschedules Are Due To Inaccessibility, Lack Of Prepping The Work Area And Other Clutter, Pets Not Put Up During Service (We Love Pets, But This Is To Keep Them Safe), Or Other Reasons Not Due To Weather Delays or Sick Technicians, Will Be Subject To A Travel Fee As Follows
1-15 Miles = $25
16-30 Miles = $50
30-50 Miles = $75
Payment Extensions:
Payment Extensions Must Be Discussed With Tyson Diede (Owner), of Dorsey Home and Lawn Services LLC and a Confirmation of the Payment Extension Will Be Sent Via Email or Text for Records. Payment Extensions Can Range From 14-60 Days and Are Accepted on a Case by Case Basis.
Quote Expirations:
Home Service Quotes Expire 14 days after the quote is delivered.
Any Quotes Involving Anything with Potential Growth and/or Disposal Services (Cleanups, Leaves, Debris, etc.) Expire Within 48 Hours and the Service Must Be Scheduled Within 14 Days of Approving the Quote
Inspections:
First Time Inspections for Any Given Service is Free In Greeley/Evans and Surrounding Areas, Travel Fees Apply for Inspections Outside of a 20 Mile Radius Unless Otherwise Previously Discussed. The quote is provided at No Cost. If a Quote Expires or Changes Are Made/Requested, a Requote is Necessary and a Reinspection/Requote Fee Will Be Charged. Reinspection fees are $50
About Us
Tyson was born and raised in CO, moved to Florida 2020, and moved back to CO in 2023. He started Dorsey Home and Lawn in April 2024 after the birth of his daughter. He has his Associate of Arts Degree, no designation from FRCC. He has experience in golf course maintenance, general insect/rodent, termite, and wildlife pest control, construction, and mechanical repair work. Not to mention he was a chef for several years and can make a mean lasagna.
